PIDDINGHOE CHURCH BELLS RESTORATION PROJECT

Our bell tower dates from the 12 Century and the three bells from 1713. We secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and privately to restore, repair and refurbish our three current bells to allow them to be rung full circle and to add three more treble bells to achieve a peel of six.

This exciting project involved local Newhaven schools with an oral history project and opportunities to learn both hand bell and full circle bell ringing.
