We endeavour to keep the church open daily and kindly ask visitors to remember to close the door when leaving. There are two Sunday Services every month, details below. Festival Services are held on special occasions and Pastoral Services when required.
The church is an active and essential part of Piddinghoe’s small and diverse community. It was used during the pandemic, when allowed, by a brass band for rehearsals and is one of the venues for the Lewes and Newhaven wide ‘ArtWave’ exhibition. Every September, we welcome hundreds of visitors to a weekend of exhibitions celebrating the work of local and professional artists and creators.
The church offers a broad and diverse range of seasonal services including Remembrance, Carols, Harvest Festival, Mothering Sunday, and an animal-friendly service which has attracted 16 animals, including a horse and a tortoise.
At the heart of the church’s life is the celebration of the Christian Faith. All are welcome to worship – we have two services a month.
All services for the foreseeable future will be taken by The Reverend Canon Richard Moatt.
Villagers, visitors and guests are warmly welcomed regardless of their faith or creed.
We welcome you to join us for Carols in the Churchyard on 15th December, 2024 at 5pm. (This will be held in the church if wet). The video below is from 2023 with the Seaford Silver Band.
